It's driving me mad - but I can't remember the name of a costume drama I know I watched with my mum when I was younger. It was in the 1990s (I think late) and it was based on a young family who had to go and live in a tent during (I think) WW1. There were a lot of tents and a whole village hiding out from the war. I remember a youngish girl/woman was in charge of her family and there was a love interest. Can you think what it was called? If you can, I would really appreciate you contacting me with the answer!
