Looking for the title of a movie I watched in the early 80's, probably a TV Movie, starring Kate Jackson. Set in New York, around the 80's. Affluent couple, very much in love, adopted a young girl, very troubled. She bonded with husband, but never connected with the wife. Then husband died in horse accident in a park (probably Central Park. I never got to watch the last half of the movie. This movie has always haunted me. It was before we had any VCR, or even a system that would let me look for the name of the movie. (The star could also have been Jaclyn Smith - I only remember it was one of Charlie's Angels but NOT Farrah.
