There is a young woman who has something wrong with her face "dog faced" and she is good natured, hard working, peasant class.
There is a gentleman who is either attacked by dogs or run over by a carriage (I was a kid when I saw part of this on KQED). He is handsome and somewhat well off (maybe a tradesman or modest gentleman). She saves his life. That is all I remember, but I have always wanted to see the rest of the movie or possibly mini series.
