The movie that I would love to find again was more of a short film about an irish woman who became a widow. She struggles financially and her neighbor (who actually falls in love with her) offends her by offering to buy some of her land and insisting that it's strictly a business decision. In the end, she ends up loving him, but it's very subtle and nicely done acting. Setting is 1890 or so.
