It's based out of England (I think) 18-1900s an old married couple that live on a huge land with 5 or 6 daughters. I believe the father is a judge. They marry off their daughters to wealthy men. The eldest daughter married into a wealthy family and his cousin was an ass hole (i think he was studing to be a lawyer) fell in love with the girls younger sister. The baby of the family married an older man who was a liar and soilder just to get out of her parents house. Some parts are based out of France in a big fancy house.
