I am trying to find the movie (or series) I watched sometime in the '90s. I don't have a much to go on. All I can remember are a young woman and a young man, who are growing up together (or they are just neighbours, or just friends, can't really remember). I think there was an older woman with them. They were poor or belonging to the working class. For some reason, I think the young man had a hump on his back. I also remember the scene in which he rescues her from being raped by some old dude. I think they end up together in the end. Anyone? Thanks in advance :)
