I am trying to remember à movie but all i CAN remember is Noé scène--à cruel stepfather triés to discipline a little boy-- making him kneel and apologize.
They de IDE he mst be sent away to school and there is a heartbreaking scene as he begs and pleads with his mother not to send him away-- he even kneels to show his sincerity and they do not relent.
Anyone see this movie or period drama? I think I watched it on Netflix just this past winter.
It's driving me crazy! I think the point of the scene is to show how damaged he was as a child--as an explanation of why he is the kind of adult he has become.
