An old movie... Maybe Charlton Heston was in it..? About an entrepreneur looking for a ship to borrow. He finds a spinster with a dying father who agrees to give him her inherited ship for free on condition he marries her, so she knows her future is secure. He ends up getting deliriously ill on the ship and she saves everyone by navigating the ship and taking charge of a motley crew all by herself. He screws his business partners by making them pay all the bills and doing the work for free but selling the barrels that held the merchandise he delivered for a huge profit. Never saw the end of the movie...thx :)
