Ages ago on tv they showed a period drama I can only Remmber that two men were in love with one woman, a younger man (possibly had ginger hair) and a more mature. There's a scene on a lake where the two men have a shoot out for the woman it's misty and the young man misses however the older man is confident and wins.
The end of the film moved me the older man after a long time visits the woman the scene is in a big room with her just sitting on the chair and I think she is already married or something but anyways she declines the man and the closing scene is him walking off down the street?
