Within the last 2years I took someone to a doctors appointment- while I waited I saw parts of a very entertaining movie -but since I caught in the middle and had to leave, I'm afraid I'll never know - can anyone help?
It looked like 1960-1970 grainy color filming.
I believe it took place in Ireland. A Shepard near a cliff and a large body of water below, accidentally has his sheep let out of the pen. They startle and begin to follow each other off the cliff ! One after another! He arrives in time to see the last handful dive to their deaths.
Prior to this scene there was talk of a pretty village girl looking for a husband. I think maybe he was hoping for a chance but now had none.
I'd love to watch this film in its entirely.
