Saw a short movie in an art house in Paris in the 1960s. American tourist and European couple (either French or Italian). American chap and European couple hang out, with him paying lots of attention to the wife. Husband becomes jealous and confronts American, and learns the American is not trying to seduce the wife, but has fallen in love with the husband. Film was black and white, and either Italian or French. Would like to know the name of film. Thanks for any help.
