Any help much appreciated! My mom can' remember the name of a show/mini series that she saw on BBC recently: all she can tell me is that an extremely poor female cousin who lives on a farm befriends a rich male cousin, who rapes her and impregnates her. She returns home to her (maybe abusive father) and has the baby, which dies because the girl cannot afford to feed herself enough to produce breast milk for the baby. A rich young man later falls in love with the girl and marries her, but leaves her when she discloses that she was raped had a baby that dies. Years later, the (rapist) cousin see her, and yells at her, disparages her in public. She says the show stopped coming on and so she never finished it. Thanks a million if you can help!!!
