The movie is based in china, the main character was poor that he didn't own a pair of shoes. When he had found the love of his life he was embarrassed about his predicament that he painted his feet with something black. He works his way up in life by fighting and finally has a pair of shoes. In the ending his pinned to the wall with a spear or two, and as he is dying, i think it was his right foot that was trying to put on back his shoe but dies trying.
Please if you know the name of this movie it would be much appreciated.
