The movie start with a soldier in a military craft and he starts the story. He fell in love with a black girl during the beginning of racial unrest in America. He is killed in a war but his portrait was painted by a soldier whose life he saved. The film ended with The Longest Ride ending...portrait was auctioned and the buyer inherited the whole estate. The buyer was the black uncle of the girl who fell in love with the son. He was also a long time chauffer and friend of the son's father. It was a love story of the parents and the son. The ending was the black man driving off in his former employer's car. I have been searching for this title for years. It was set in WWII as the start but ended in the 60's time period. Can you HELP, please, with the title?
