I've been racking my brains for ages trying to remember more of this period drama!
A woman moves to a fairly wealthy household to work, she lives out in a small cottage? Quite plain but does for her. I think the elderly mother of the household may be blind, she has plenty of birds who the working girl looks after well. The son of the household is cruel? I remember a scene in which he is in the library, he may have suggested an inappropriate book to her?
Thanks so much to anyone who may know, I know I've not given much to go on but it's driving me mad!
