Thanks for your response. No...it's not Pollyanna. I don't think it was a Disney movie. It was a random movie we picked up for rent. My daughter told me that it was mentioned in a book that she read (don't remember the book), and it sounded interesting so she wanted to rent it. I seem to remember the girl becoming bitter after her fall/injury and it was either an aunt or a friend who I believe was ill herself, helped her move forward.
