Title Help

Ok, I know this is a long shot but I figure, why not. I am looking for a movie that I was obsessed with when I was a preteen - so mid 80's. It was a cheesy teen movie about a group of friends who goes back in time to France (I think) where she meets and falls in love with a knight who she discovers is her ancestor. She returns to modern day only to discover that the only reason he is her ancestor is because she marries him, so she returns; thus the happy ending. It has been driving me nuts trying to think of the title of this movie. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!
