I rented a dvd just a few years ago and can't remember the name. It was about a middle-aged English woman who has been widowed and decides to move to a cottage with a lovely garden. She is an upper class 19th century woman and her family and friends do not understand. I believe she befriends a man not of her class (he may be the one who helps her find the cottage) and that is not approved of either. This is not The Ghost and Mrs. Muir but a British film or TV drama that was made in the last decade or so. A very simple story about a woman who wants to live her own kind of life.
