Hi, I don't remember much about this film as I watched it years ago but it was a period drama, a girl of around 16 (a peasant) lived with a younger brother and a baby I'm not sure if there was a mother. She is raped by a rich man and has his child and they marry in the end. She had wild curly hair and I think that at one point she twists her ankle an is helped by the rich man's father, he also tells his son off for his actions. I also think that she is given a wooden cradle for the baby.. lease help!
