I saw this movie on TCM at least 5 years ago. To the best of my memory: I believe it is black and white and the period is between 1920-1940s. In the movie, a man marries a women he just met. I believe he was drunk and she was a small town girl that didn't know any better. However, he already had a girlfriend/fiancée. His wife and him go on a honeymoon cruise where they find an injured deer while docked. During the movie the man tries to figure out how his life will work with a wife and a girlfriend and decides that he will keep the girlfriend as a mistress. He looks at the marriage as an accident and does not have relations with his wife. The ending is of him and his wife playing cards (bridge I think) and his now mistress calls. The wife begs him not to go and he decides to stay with his wife and end the affair. Does anyone know the title? Thank you!
