Title Help

I saw a movie a few years back about a girl that ran away with her boyfriend.They had a dream about making everything on their own.But he died and winter was close so a man (local) asked her if she wants to stay with him,he was widower as well and he had a daughter,needed help with her,a feminine model.When the winter was over the girl was supposed to leave but they fell in love,so she stayed.Does this sound familiar to anyone? I can't remember the title or the name of the actress,and I would really like to see this movie again.Please help.
