While I was babysitting a couple years ago, the kids were asleep and I was watching a period drama on tv. It could have been a movie or a mini series, I don't have cable so I don't know what it was. But it could have been 1700-early 1900's.
A young couple falls in love and the guy has to go away for some reason I can't remember and he goes missing and falls terribly ill and his family doesn't know where he is or anything. I know its a fairly recent film, no earlier than 2006 I think, but that is seriously all I know. The last scene I remember is when he is in a strange hospital or something and he gets a little better and tries to go home maybe?
