Black/White film was aired in the early 70's, I think it was British but could be French. They spoke english, but I know there were accents. Story was about a thin, young white girl, short dark hair that had to say goodbye to her black boyfriend, as he was going away on a ship. She would keep checking the docks for his return. She learned she was pregnant after he left.
I think she might've worn a bumblebee-striped sweater, not sure. I think her name was Sunshine or that word might be in the title somehow. I don't think the boyfriend came back by the end of the movie.
