I saw half this movie when I was a kid but never finished it and have always wanted to. So I'm pretty sure it was in Britain. One of the early scenes I remember is a young girl being told she was going to get married, she says she won't and gets a spanking on her bum. She later marries the boy, He turns up drunk and falls asleep on their wedding night. I remember they later travel and I think stay at a church where they start to get to know each other more intimately...This film has been stuck in my head for ages I'd love to know how it goes on. Thanks
