trying to remember a show think shown in the 1970's, in UK, but set in earlier times. Edwardian maybe, the main actor was 'man of the manor' but he was ruthless had many children out of wedlock and the signature trait of this man was the white patch in his hair like a skunk
that he passed on so that was the clue to who his children were.
