Hi,
I'm looking for a romantic English mini-series in period costume.
I remember that the declaration scene takes place before a start in the rain where the two heroes kiss.
I know that the heroine is the daughter of a doctor and that the first episode begins with her accompanying her father to rich people and ends up being found asleep in their bed.
The hero is a scientist and travels for his research. There's a scene where he shows insects through the telescope to heroine.
They climb a mountain together in the final scene because she has decided to follow him on his travels.
If I'm not mistaken, it's taken from a book but the author (woman) died before finishing it.
