Hello, I am looking for a TV movie from the 90s or early 2000s that I watched as I child but cannot remember the name of. The movie is set in the early 20th century, I think somewhere between 1920-50s but I could be wrong. The movie is about an African American lady who lives with her mother and little daughter. Her daughter is friends with a white girl who is their neighbour and I think the lady worked as a housemaid for her parents. The little African American girl dies from asthma and her mother cries and asks God why did he take her from her. The white girl is very sad and keeps looking at the swing where she used to play with her friend. The white girl grows up and dies as a teenager from an illness I think. The African American lady stands up during the funeral in the church and says that the girl's parents are the reason why she died. Does anybody know the title of this movie?
