Looking for this older movie, probably made for tv would have been late 90s/early 2000/
Takes place during Ww2. Woman’s husband goes to war leaving her pregnant and with their young son. For some reason German soldiers end up staying at her home and she befriends/maybe has an affair with an officer. I remember the officer ends up saving her newborn daughter (she wasn’t breathing and he gets her to breathe). And at some point the husband returns home (I think he was presumed dead) but he’s paralyzed from the waist down. Last thing I remember is that the son tells his dad about the officer.
I’ve tried searching google in every way I can imagine, so any help would be great!
