I'm looking for the name of an old grainy b/w movie I watched on late night TV in the mid 70's. Im assuming the movie was from the 40's. The plot had a poor young girl (possibly living with older relatives, not her parents) who witnessed her boyfriend's shooting as he rode his motor cycle on a country road. The shooter was her older relatives who disapproved of the girl's relationship with her boyfriend. She develops amnesia after falling while running away through the woods. She regains her memory at the end and barricades herself in an icehouse while her uncle/ custodian tries to break down the icehouse door with an ax. As she's hiding in the icehouse she discovers her boyfriend's frozen body. I think the movie ended there.
