Thanks for helping me. I have been racking my brains for years. I really enjoyed a mini series costume drama and would love to read the book and rewatch the series but just can't recollect the name. As best I recall the gentleman is a tailor, meets a lady and they set up a tailor business which is not doing well. One day he just starts walking and keeps going. After a time I think that he ends up working in a pub and ends up in a relationship with the female owner. At one point he returns to see if wife is ok.
