I remember watching this some time before 2004. It was a mini series about a young woman (either a doctor or teacher) who comes to a new town. She grows relationships with all the children in the area. I can picture one young girl with dark hair and glasses.
The episode I remember most involves a boy who had some medical condition where he was told to only eat broth until he healed. But at one point he sneaks a boiled egg and he ends up on the floor in horrible pain. The main character woman has to come and help him. In fact, he might actually die. I can't remember.
I've thought about this show so much since I saw it as a kid. Anyone know??
