Okay, this is a period drama movie. I cannot remember a whole lot from it, but I remember this one scene. There’s a woman who hates this man, and a plague or something breaks out and she catches it. However, if she scratches it it will scar her so he ties up her hands on the bed and she screams she hates him. He tells her loves her or something like that. Long story short, I believe he dies in the end. He has dark hair. It’s an older movie, maybe from the 90s?
