The show/movie from what I can remember has a seen about a rich guy and a girl and the guy has a brother and the girl doesn't remember them but a flashback shows the rich guy as a kid and the girl as a kid and the both get kidnapped by the rich guy's dad ex-wife. The ex-wife ends up hanging herself and while she is preparing to do it the rich kid protects the girl from the view of the ex-wife. I can't remember anything else from it and it's killing me.
