I believe it's set in England during a war time (WWI?), young boy/teen (prep school) and family are friends with a young woman whose husband is a POW. She and the young boy have an affair - fairly explicit scenes with them on a river bank, and in her flat. She gets pregnant and takes a trip to visit her husband at the camp. In the end her husband comes back and she has a baby and they're all having a picnic (the young boy's family and her family). Girl was dark haired and looked somewhat like Juliette Binoche, but isn't her.
