Saw part of this movie on PBS in the '90s...I think. What I remember is the main character was a wealthy/free spirited (middle aged???) woman and was traveling somewhere by carriage/coach and was accompanied by a bodyguard. There was a scene where she is bathing in a tub in the woods or alongside the road and the bodyguard turns away. And another scene later in the show where the bodyguard and the woman are having sex and the bodyguard asks for "permission to fire" or "pull the trigger" (to climax/finish) and she grants him permission.
