Looking for the title of a miniseries that was on PBS television in the 1980s I believe. There is a young woman, red hair, (possibly named Bridgett who might be the maid) who is seduced by the older, handsome son, but the younger son really loves her. There is a mother who I think is a widow. I believe it was set in Britain during or shortly after WWI.
