I can't remember much of this movie...I saw it on Showcase in the early 2000s.
It's Asian, about a young girl who is forced into marriage and consummation, and moves in with her in-laws. Her husband's mother insists on checking her menstrual pads every month. She has a son, and eventually grows to love her husband. Her in-laws went somewhere, I don't remember where, and at some point her husband gets on a train to find them, or something like that.
I've been trying to find it for years. Any help is greatly appreciated.
