movie sets in.. maybe 1800s.. mystery surrounding a grand hotel on an island and children walking at night being taken , a young man came to the island trying to find answers and met a female worker at the hotel. She had to go home at night and take care of her father, an alcoholic. All of the children that disappeared have not been found. There are stories about a beam of lights seen at the cemetery ,later the man found out that's where the children had been taken by bad people in search of gold around the hotel. the female worker help him find the hidden gold burried within the hotel.
i couldn't remember the name of the island nor the hotel . the actor playing the role as a young man looks similar to Elijah Wood from lord of the rings
