Chinese..lotus blossom festival...emperor, wife,three sons..emperor slowly poisoning wife, by having her drink a small cup of "medicine" every day. When this was discovered the emperor gave the one son a choice to either give his mother the medicine every day or be killed. The son refused and the emperor killed him with a sword. One son wanted to take over ruling. The emperor said something like " you will never take anything, I don't first give you" that son raised an army and lead them into an open area full of lotus plants in pots. The room was set up for celebration the next morning. The emperor's army trapped the son's in this place and killed everyone but the son. The emperor again told the son he count take anything the emperor didn't first give him, and killed the son. The third son was killed, but I forgot how. The ending had the emperor and with eating celebrating the lotus festival and he told her to take her medicine. She drank the little cup of poison.
