Hello I'm looking for a film/period drama from tv 80/90s I think.
It was a story with two women as the main characters, one I think had a hair lip and red hair and the other dark.
The red haired one did a dance where she striped for a room of men taking the place of the other woman who didn't want to do it as her husband was in the room or something like that. It involved her hiding her identity with scarves as she'd of been recognised due to hair lip, but one man recognised her anyway.
I think one or both got accused of witchcraft and dunked but was rescued.I think it was set in England or America sometime in 1800s sorry for being vague any help or suggestions gratefully received as it's annoy me as these things do :)
