A black and white movie starring JOAN Crawford. The story takes place in Asia, China. Film setting snd Women and men’s clothes are styles from the 1930s-1950s. Attire is Very proper, dressy, professional with hats for both women and men. Joan has an affair with a woman’s husband. I think the husband tried to break the affair off after wife grows suspicious and confronts him. Instead of ending the affair JOAN stabs her lover. Police investigate but never find the killer. Somehow the wife of the murdered man discovers that JOAN was the other woman AND that JOAN killed her husband. Wife confronts JOAN somehow the two women come to an agreement that to make things right JOAN must die the same way her lover died. JOAN agreed, walks out To porch, and waits while facing the wife. The wife stabs JOAN with long sharp knife and movie ends.
