It's a movie about a woman who is hired as a servant, and when she arrives at the house it turns out the man who hired her is extremely abusive to his wife, and now to herself. In her and the wife's attempts to escape, they fall in love with each other and murder the man. The whole movie is (I think) supposed to be a flashback when the servant girl is asked if the man had any enemies by the police.
