I'm looking for the name of a movie in which a husband has to go off to war and his wife accompanies him to England(?). When he leaves, she volunteers for the war effort and falls in love with another soldier. They have an affair, but I believe he is killed. Her husband returns, discovers the affair, and leaves her. I believe this movie was made in the 50s or 60s. It was so emotional that I remember it to this day.
