There is a husband and wife and a daughter. It takes place back in the horse and buggy days. Electricity is has been invented but not common. He owes a debt but can’t pay it. He runs away and his wife and daughter are taken to work off his debt. He later become rich and buys them back. But at that point the wife is really sick. She is dying. So he tries to save her life but she gets worse. He buys them a house. Has all of these doctors and healers come with their potions...AND the wife and daughter don’t know it’s him!!!
