I am trying to find a family film set in the 1900s. There was a young girl around ten years old who befriended a poor orphan girl with blond hair. The girl was wealthy and she gave the other girl some clothes. She lived with her aunt, I think. The aunt wanted her to be friends with a snobby girl of her own class.
The blond girl found a family with two late-aged sisters who knitted her a sweater that was two different colors. I think it was pink and blue...I only saw that one scene.
