What was that film called it was set in about 1970/80/90 about a boy who lived with his dad who was always getting himself into trouble, always drinking, but then the boy has no mum as she moved away and the young boy took some money out of either the mum's purse or his dad's purse for something. The dad ends up with an injured hand as the son finds him in the bathroom.And one day they have to sleep in a unused empty house for a night? Please let me know if you know what film I am on about as I watched it in school once when I was in Year 8 but really don't remember the name of the film and would love to know what the film is called.
