My mother made me watch this movie that she DVR'd and it started with a man falling in love with his mothers assistant (or maid/secretary) he proposes and she says yes only because she doesn't believe she'll get a better offer (he is wealthy). The mother doesn't aprove and the woman starts to dig into his family past and finds out that he has a brother who fought in India and took on an Indian wife. I the meantime the couple has moved to the mans large estate and the woman slowly begins to fall in love with him. He is called away to fight somewhere, leaving her pregnant and alone. One day her disowned brother in law, his Indian wife, and her mother show up to the estate with a letter supposidly from her husband saying that he sent them to keep her company. She grows a friendship with her sister in law and that womans mother makes the pregnant wife a drink to help along the pregnancy (she doesn't know however that it is laced with something and it makes her very drowsey). She figures out soon that the drink is like a poison and begins pouring it out insteaad of taking it. A few weeks/days before the baby's due (on the night the husband is to be back they make an attempt to take the pregnant womans life and she escapes through wall passages and hiding. Eventually she is caught by the Indian mother and almost smothered by a pillow but her husband saves her just in time. He kills his brother somehow and the two indian women are sent away. The ending scene is of two blond haired twins running around the house when the couple catch them for a family moment. (I honestly don't know how much of this is real i saw this movie when I was like 13 and it messed me up but I would like to know wht it is called).
