Title Help

This may not qualify as a "Period Drama," but maybe someone will recognize this part of the plot and can tell me the name of a movie I saw several years back. It was about an overweight kid, who was making school life miserable for another boy. The smaller boy's older brother had a tough friend and they decided to teach the bully a lesson. They got the bullied kid to invite the bully to his birthday party. The bully was so pleased that he went out and bought the kid a really expensive gift (I think it might have been a computer game).
The bullied kid didn't want his brother and the buddy to carry out the revenge plan, but the tough buddy did anyway. The "bully" fell in the water and drowned.
