I saw a movie in the 80s. A girl lived in the country England, Scotland (1800s?) not sure. The guy is well off he comes for the summer or something, they fall in love and decide to run off together I think but when they are supposed to meet he doesn't show up, and ends up marrying a woman with money. Meanwhile the girl he stood up had became pregnant with his child. At the end of the movie he goes back to this place and hes driving through the countryside(in an old car with the top down) with his new wife and he sees the girl and with her is a boy that is his, hes devastated at what he left behind. That's how the movie ends. The girl is blond it was called something like...a summer story or a summer love....Please help I've been looking for this movie for years.
