A french black & white film of the late 40's thru the 50's I would guess. A french lady of early 20's is a secretary for a small street side office. What I remember most was some dialog early in the movie took place between this secretary and a young man as they walked briskly down a sidewalk. The sidewalk had a hand railing in the middle, he on the right and her on the left. It was witty banter as he tried to get her to say yes to his asking her out and her playful negative responses. He didn't seem to give the impression that he was giving up. He'd be back. haha
